Seems like we waited for Owen’s arrival forever after his mom contacted me to do a newborn session. Well, ok, his parents waited forever since this little guy went a week overdue! I fell in love as soon as I met this little guy, he was such a good little model.

I met up with Amanda + Cole in Downtown Willoughby to capture some engagement shots before their big New Year’s Eve Wedding! It was probably the last “nice” Ohio Saturday we will have for awhile, so I am glad it was sunny and 65 in November!
This last photo is probably my favorite of all time. I literally gasped when I was looking through the proofs. Love, love, love!
I woke up on this early November Saturday to see snow on the ground. After a brief freak out, I headed out to meet Charlotte + Josh for their engagement sesssion in Olmsted Falls. Not only did the weather get worse as I was driving, but I was coming up with all these plans as to how we were going to make this work. I told my husband he was going to come with me, hold an umbrella. We should probably get some warm coffee. Yada yada. Then, we crossed the Valley View Bridge and the sky was a gorgeous Fall blue and the ground was dry. Hmmm. I guess sometimes West IS Best.
Although it was a bit chilly, we were still able to hang on to some of that Northeast Ohio Fall color. Enjoy some of my favorites from the day!
To say that this bride and I go way back would be a major understatement. Kelli and I met in the first grade when she moved into our school district. From then on, our childhood was filled with roller skating parties, pig tails and all that fun stuff that comes later with adolescence. It was such an honor when Kelli contacted me a few days after her engagement to photograph her special day.
Kelli and Julius’ wedding day was one of those perfect early fall days where the sky was a gorgeous blue and the weather was just perfect (albeit, a bit windy).
Thanks again, Kelli and Julius (and family) for having me be a part of such a beautiful day! Special thanks also to friend/Jill of All Trades, Meghan, for helping me on this day.
